This is the mini I received from Karen - aka tesspug. The snowman makes me smile - is he looking up at the stars in the sky; is he trying to catch a snowflake or maybe he's just looking up and smiling; love it Karen, thank you. Also included in the package were two beautiful ornaments and a handmade dishcloth; thank you. The ornaments are already on my mini feather tree.

I passed that milestone 6 years ago, Kiffie! The numbers, they come and they go and I don't feel any different. Except for that touch of ache in my shoulders, and getting up in the morning. Today I have very little ambition. I am happy to curl up on the couch with a warm afghan and a kitty or two. I really should get up and do something. Tomorrow I am having DirectTV come to do an install and I ignored doing laundry and cleaning today. I'm feeling every one of those years today. That and knowing I'm on vacation from work the next two weeks has something to do with it.

My bday was the 11th.....I am now in the last yr of my forties! Ugh
Haven't felt that swell this weekend, glad these haven't been workdays. Although I didn't feel bad enough not to eat the candy that Kif sent me along with this wonderful mini! Isn't he just the cutest! She also sent a very sweet Christmas card and these great fat quarters. Thank you so much Kif! I just love the mini and all the goodies as well.
