Question: what size is too small/large for a doll quilt? I'm almost thinking I'm going too big? Any input would be greatly appreciated! I can make my pattern a little smaller if need be, just wondering what size others are going for?

tlambing, it's always been very flexible. I would estimate, 12 1/2" sq to 20-24" sq. Or, it can be oblong also. I really think it's up to the maker. Is that right girls (guys)? It's been a long time since I've been in the swap. Have the rules changed? I guess that's a good thing to know now, before I send the wrong size one. (There is time to make another if I need to.)

I think anything about 24" width or length or smaller would be perfect. OF course nothing is set in stone about what size is to big for a doll quilt. Remember the "Quilt Police" DO NOT exist!

I was wondering about size as I was doing mine too. It ended up being 16x20.. so I guess I am in the ballpark. Nise, I have it done, but want to wait until next week to mail. I need a show and tell project for next week. Since I have been gone and didn't work on anything else... this will be it...I will let you know when I mail. Thanks.

Also... why is it necessary for tracking #.... ? postage without is a lot less expensive.....

You can track it, it's insured and delivery is more reliable. Most of the swaps on the board require you to have it now. To many people receiving and not mailing.
