It came
My doll quilt from scrapper came today. I love it! Nice spring colors, perfect points, couldn't be any nicer. The backing is really cute made with pieces from the front.
Thanks, Cary, for being my partner.

Hi Ladies!
I thought I'd take a moment to drop in and see what's been going on this month, but I see there's no April swap due to Lisa's move. I'll probably jump back into the swap in June.
It has been a long, long 18 months since Superstorm Sandy. We still haven't received all we are owed by the insurance company and the flood portion of the claim is now in Federal Court. We were told that they might settle in May. One hopes so. After weighing our options we decided not to rebuild in Long Beach. The town just hasn't bounced back and since we're in our early 60's, it seemed ridiculous to invest $500k for a modular that is raised 10 feet in the air. so ... we sold the house for the land at a huge loss, but at least we're shaking the sand from our shoes (literally) and moving on.
We're closing on a house in our new community on May 15th and moving on May 21st. I can't wait to get out of this apartment and get settled! If all goes well, at the end of summer we're taking a trip for our 25th wedding anniversary to Iceland.
Well, that's all for now. Hope everyone is doing well.
