YES!! It DID help! And YES!, it's as clear as mud  But at least I understand what you meant, & that all is OK & in order (well, w/the exception of yours truly who got a little out of control & finished CJoyce's early - but I hope I'm forgiven for that little slip-up  )

Kathi, SO-OOOO jealous that you get to leave this horrible winter weather & head south!! I hope the temps while you are there are wam & wonderful!! Enjoy every minute!!

yes!! You cut a 6 and 1/2 and when you sew i/4 inch seam to the border you are left with l/4 inch to sew on the next border. so It is a 6 1/4 inch border you are left with.

when it gets sewn to the next border then it becomes a 6 inch border. Do I make any sense????? Confussing I know!

I was in Florida from Dec 8--Jan 13th. Home to this freezing snow blah Michigan. Back to Florida on the 27th for about 3 weeks again. I sure hope that it is warmer than December/Jan. But again it makes it easier to stay in and sew. I have 6 sewing machines and three bedrooms, come on down.
