You can get a head start on autumn by joining the Fall Tablerunner Swap. We had fun with the summer swap that is just wrapping up and some of us want to do it again! Join us!
This swap is for a finished tablerunner -- top, batting, backing and binding. You may quilt it by simple stitch-in-the-ditch, echo quilting, hand quilting or decorative machine stitching. Do whatever your skill level allows.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
* SIGNUP ends Friday, July 2, after which you will be matched with a swap partner. You may start sewing at any time -- you do not have to wait to get your partner’s name. However, you must send me a PM in order to get on the sign-up list.
* MAILING DEADLINE is Aug. 31 to mail your tablerunner to your partner so it can be used during the fall months!
* SIZE: Minimum runner size is 12x36 inches. You may go larger. For this swap we’ll do actual runners rather than “table toppers” that are round or square.
MATERIALS: Use 100% cotton fabric. Be as creative as you want. Use any blocks, colors or fabrics that suggest fall to you. However, if you want to use a Halloween theme, please check with your partner first, as some people do not celebrate or decorate for that holiday. In that case, choosing a general autumn theme is more appropriate.
LABEL: A label for the back of the runner is OPTIONAL. Some people would prefer not to have a label in case they want to reverse the runner. If you make a label, you may want to just send it with the runner rather than attaching it…your choice.
COMMUNICATION: If something comes up and you are not able to meet the deadline for mailing, or if you need to drop out, please let me know as soon as possible. And keep in communication with your swap partner if you have questions for her. Please be sure to thank your partner.
Please PM me if you would like to join the fun! If you are willing to swap international, please indicate that in your PM.

Wow, you all are quick! The post has only been up about six hours and we've got 15 people swapping! This should be fun!
I was asked if you need to check with your partner regarding preferences on colors, etc. You certainly may check if you wish, but since this is a fall theme, you do not have to do so -- interpretation of the theme is up to you, so you can start sewing at any time. The exception would be if you would like to do a Halloween runner. Please make sure your partner would welcome that theme, since some people either do not celebrate or decorate for that holiday.
