I am in for a retreat in Tasmania. I love all the adorable doll quilts so far. I sent mine off yesterday to my partner. I forgot to take a picture.....again.

My goodness, the DQs' are flying in! Love the Spools, Salvage Edge, Log cabin variation, stripes and of course the patchwork (postage stamp ?) quilts! The close ups of the quilting are amazing. What a talented group we have!

Wow! Looking at the weather reports for the midwest and even the southwest! Be careful, girls! Stay warm. Stay in. And quilt, quilt, quilt! If you run out of projects don't forget that May is going to be our annual Crazy Quilt month.

OMG!! Has it been a year!! It sure don't seem like it. I can't remember for sure if the Crazy was my first, I will have to check that out.
Hope it is ok. I got anxious so am posting picture of the DQ I sent to Hearthhush. Enjoy.

Yes, I did the stitch and flip method on 12" pc of muslin, then squared it up and cut it into quarters. I loved the whole process, want to do a big quilt that way. Thanks for asking

Oooohh I love the little selvage quilt. I have collected a mountain of selvages and will begin my 'selvage moment' as soon as I get another couple of ufo's out of the way.

Stitch and flip method on muslin or non-iron interfacing is my favourite way to sew lately. Most of my quilts are made this way now.

Mine is going out tomorrow!! I was suppose to have it mailed on Tuesday, but ended up fighting it trying to put binding on it So I had to rip my pretty border off and roll over bind it, and now it's too small I'm so upset! I'm sending some fabric to since I feel I didn't hit the mark, and my partner is great!

I'll post a pic when I get mine!

Received a gorgeous quilt from debbyg today. I don't have a digital camera, but she said she can email me photos (of the one I sent her, too, which she received awhile back) and I will try to post them.

OK, bear with me because I never posted pictures here before, but I'm giving it a try. The quilt debbyg made is the one with the gorgeous quilting. Mine is the penguins (the sides got cut off a bit, but you get the idea).
