February 2016 Postcard Swap
#252
Oh, that is so cute. I have been in the peach state many times. I love the stamp fabric you used.
So many beautiful, creative fabric post cards.
I apologize to my partner, because I have not been to the post office in the past couple of days. I have had a bad case of stomach flu. I feel a bit better tonight.
I hope to get there tomorrow.
All of you have out done yourself.
Judith this turned out to be a really interesting theme. Most of us would love to have one from all the states like these. lol...

Pam P, My DH and I have been known to make special road trips to pick up Georgia Peaches. They are simply my favorite. And DH indulges me. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I love your postcard.
JuneBillie, you are right, there is not one of the "Postage Stamps" that I wouldn't want for myself as well. I am loving seeing all of your postcards.

love the orange and the peach.
I remember when I was a little girl, my grandparents taking us to pick oranges on Tropicana property.
Back then, they just had split rail fences, and my grandpa and his friend took down the rails, drove in, and put them back up again. he said no one would care. I remember big black snakes in the trees. Grandpa said they put them there so no one would pick the oranges. it seemed like we filled up the trunk of the car back then. when we were all finished, we pack up and left the way we came. Things were different then. We had fresh squeezed orang juice coming out of our ears forever!!! Now they probably have electrical fences now. Memories.

Armylady let me know if you have received your post card from me yet. It seems like the mail has been slow lately. My hubby went to the post office today, but nothing my way yet. I will let you know.

Lynnie I used freezer paper and ironed it to my white fabric. I then took it to the printer and found the map I wanted and printed it right on the fabric. I also put that iron stuff on the back afterwards. (Can't remember the name). Then prepared my postcard and ironed it all on. I love it.!
