The theme is “Down on the Farm"
The little quilt must have a top, batting and backing and must be bound. You can use any method you wish to fashion the top, piecing, appliqué, whole cloth, thread painting etc.

Please PM tlambing by February 1st to sign up. I will then match up names and get them out to you ASAP. You will have until February 28th to mail your tiny quilt to your partner. This is a FIRM DEADLINE!
Please don’t sign up unless you can commit fully to this deadline.

Do you have the ability to post pictures:

As soon as names are given, please contact your partner right away.
Please contact me asap if you are having trouble getting in contact.
Please continue to post on the thread throughout the swap. Let everyone know of your progress, post sneak peeks and encourage other swappers It’s so much fun seeing everyones progress and sharing in our quilting friendship.

Any swapper that fails to follow through and does not contact me and their partner will be banned from any of my future swaps and will receive bad (swap)feedback. I know that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, I certainly would take this into consideration, but you MUST COMMUNICATE.

Swappers should treat each other as friends and focus on the fun. So…please be prepared to be flexible, patient and understanding if necessary and appropriate.

****Please make sure to read the general rules that apply to all swaps here on the quilting board****

Don't let the this theme scare ya! Think..........animals large and small, fruits and vegetables, farm land and fences, butter churns, home canned goods, homemade pies and clothes lines. It's really an anything goes theme. I'm thinking rustic and sweet.
    Hope you'll join us!

I'm loving this theme - for the past nine months I've been working on vintage farm girl; between that and pintrest the ideas are almost endless. I hope more members will sign up.

I grew up in an unincorporated village and we raised farm animals; my mom's family is a farm family and my dad was just a throw back from the another time; we had a great exposure to rural living growing up. I wouldn't trade it for nothing - we were close enough to town we never felt like we were missing out on anything.

How about my fellow swap members - did you have a rural up bringing or mainly city/town life?

Right back to you Klaws. Happy Valentines Day to every one.

My Down on the Farm is quilted and ready for binding. Working on Haiku.

I had 18 deer in the yard yesterday. Only eight want to be photographed.

You are such a tease...I hope to start on yours tomorrow...an idea is churning....fyi yellow and blue are my favorite color combo,

Meanwhile enjoy this mini flimsy I made...a friend gave me 2 sacks of scraps and as a thank you I'll give her this. She's an artsy quilter, actually has a degree in art, so this will fit her style. I'm piecing a narrow scrappy border now.Name: IMG_20170212_1349016_rewind_kindlephoto-4901848.jpg
