Here is the AWESOME pincushion with thread catcher, fabric,
tea, and candy I got from Elayne (roserips).

Daughter reminded me this morning at 8:50 that we had an
appointment for the Maternity Floor tour.

This was to start at 10am and it was WAYYYYYYYY across town.
I wasn't even dress (still in my shorts and tank sleep gear). So
rush around to get dressed, and out the door we go at 9:10, than
my wind shield wiper popped off, took about 5 minutes for me to
get that fixed.

At that time we had only had about an inch of snow, with just wet
roads.

Did some baby shopping, and other shopping, on the way home
about 3:25pm it starts to snow a little heavier.

This is what it looks like out side 1 hour after getting home.

Guess we are in for 8-16 inches of snow now.

We are no where in the realm of snow compared to the Northeastern
part of the U.S.

If it snows enough we MIGHT get out of work on Monday.

we're supposed to get about 4". it's been snowing off and on. about 1"ow. but it's to go till tomorrow and get rainy/slushy too. I'm taking my son out to dinner for his 25th birthday. he picks a restaurant about an hour away. Here on the island, there is a lot of restaurants. He wants to go to Brooklyn to a place called Peter Lugers. Cash only no credit cards. It should cost about $200-$250. it's his 25th birthday and I've been saving all year for his gift. This is what he wants. I feel it's a waste, but it's his party and he'll eat if he want to. He's the family connoisseur. He went to culinary school, he knows what he likes. thank goodness neither one of us drinks. that would be a fortune too.

I think I am a bit jealous that there is so much SNOW in the north eastern midwest states. We have had NO SNOW here in Wa. the ski resorts are closed and need the snow bad. I am not crazy about snow but do enjoy a few days of the fluffy stuff.... send some our way .... thank you for posting photos to you who post.

Sorry Lynnie I thought the page was the same for all of us. The A/A is above the text box where the smilies and Font stuff etc. is. I think you use your phone huh? I don't so I don't know how to help you. Maybe someone else can help you.

Louise that's a pretty pin cushion and thread bag. Wild fabric I love it. Ummm.... Karen the other day you posted that my swap was delivered Friday. Well I checked my mailbox (no sawp) and my neighbor said they didn't get it either. Maybe it is in the neighboring town as our mail goes there to be sorted,,then comes out here to Elkland to be delivered. Our roads are really iced over right now. about 1 " of packed snow with icy rain on top of it.My husband did go get our mail today from our mailbox. So it hasn't been delivered yet. Sorry swap partner.I'm not worried about getting it,but I also don't want my partner to think I'm not thanking her. thanks

Mary. I'm sorry. The expected delivery was Friday. I guess it's being held up somewhere.
