Gaijin how is your dad doing? Are you going to be able to do some shopping while you are here?

Hi Sibi, I am so glad about your mother. From what I have seen both with my mother and my late husband I have no desire to ever take any medications. My mom is in hospice..she is 96...and she is better as well without all of the meds she was taking. She is fading but at least she is no longer violently sick like she was.

Prayers for your mother and all of your family. Life is beautiful!

Good to hear of healing or improvements for your mom Sibi and your dad Gaijin.
I received a wonderful package from Bullock2us (Ginger) on Sat and did pm her but didn't get here quite as quick. took some pics with my cell phone-not a smart one so hoping it is viewable but camera is not working and until I find out if it is fixable or have to replace, this is my pic option. It was a really great package, she sent 4 wonderful fabrics, a postcard of Idaho with interesting info about Idaho, a spoon with a russet potato, Idaho huckleberry jam which we used on Sunday for our toast-it is yummy, a huckleberry candy (saving for a special treat to share with dh), book I haven't read yet, pattern for all sorts of totes including for electronic items, an amazing assortment of beverages, and the dark chocolate covered strawberries she had posted about. I have never had a huckleberry before but the jam is delicious. I was absolutely tickled and delighted with all the surprises. Now lets see if we can see the pics.....

Hi Ladies! DD surgery went good and hopefully I can go home tomorrow, or Sat. Haven't received my Feb swap yet, but still going to sign up for March. Love seeing everyone's swap pkgs! Thanks Lori for all you do!

I just received a wonderful squishy from my swap angel, letsquilt. She really put together a great package, especially when you consider she didn't have much time. I said what I needed most was white or cream fabrics, she sent both. My favorites colors are pink and turquoise, she sent fabric in both colors and the turquoise is a beautiful ombre batik. Then she also included a neat magazine, a journal and a bunch of notions. I collect pincushions, and she sent me a PINK one! Thanks again Pat for a really wonderful package.
