Karen: glad everyone is okay. Our paper comes by mail too.

We now have a government that is pro business so you never know if they will make them an essential service. We use to have a lot more essential services here so they can't strike but with some pro union governments that has changed. My favourite is that in some provinces Doctors are not essential services but nurses are so doctors can strike and nurses can't. (at least, as a nurse, I find that funny and great :) )

I got my row yesterday! I just wanted everyone to know that it got to my house OK- now to work!!! I forget who it belongs to, but it is paper pieced stars. I am going to get busy looking for some good star patterns... sorry, I am at work, not in my sewing room...I just wanted to let you all know that it is here and looks like it is going to be a lot of fun...

I am so glad that the postal strike is over for you guys up there in Cananda.
