OK, I'm finding PP very difficult!!! I just spent over an hour, (ok closer to 2 put didn't want to admit it) working on ONE church block from the quilter's cache and found that one of the templates is not to scale with the rest of the templates!!! I'm stopping for the night and will pick it back up tomorrow.

any advice on other PP sites that have free patterns???

Oh dear! I'm sorry that happened. Usually there is a box on the page that you need to check to make sure it's the correct size. I usually draw my own block using the picture on the site. I use graph paper and then print it out on PP paper. Maybe that would work for you?
