Does that mean that there are 48 blocks missing? Wow! That's a shame!

Horselover and owlvamp sent their blocks together in the same envelope to save money. They were returned the same way.

I am sure they have to be at your post office maybe in the lost and found or something?? I would go down there to the office and personally talk to the head postmaster. Even if your postage was short, they would give you a card stating that you need to pay the extra to have them delivered. I did notice that you had them in a much larger envelope than normal, but, I didn't check the postage amount for you. I figured you had checked and that the correct amount was on it. The address to and from is the same, yours. So I have no way of legally checking on them.

I am very flustered over this whole affair as much as you are girls. I hope you are able to locate them at the post office. Or that they show up soon. If not, I will send a couple blocks too, even though I shorted myself sending out a set extra to one of the swappers. At this point, I don't care about losing more.

The envelope was fine and so was the postage for I got it from the post office in person.i went to the post office and they said they had nothing but will go again just for a peace of mind. I use those envelopes for all of my I Spy Swaps. I have never had a problem with them.. So I know it's not the envelope... But will go again and ask about lost and found... I will get back with you.

Hey ladies, Remember, the mail just stinks right now also. It is expensive and sometimes, they sure can take the scenic route before they get re-routed to you.

I once sent a small package to Florida once from Kentucky. And for some unknown reason, it went West to Oklahoma first and wallowed out there for a few weeks before it was re-routed. It darn near took a month to get where it was going. All because I didn't send it the fastest way.

Let's hope this is just a glitch. And they will eventually make it to you.

I have been in many of Redgarnet's swaps over the past couple of years and have always been pleased. I can't sing her praises enough. I'm sure things are going to work out okay.

Well my trip to PA was extended and I just go home tonight, and to add to my delight after a long day of traveling was my blocks. Thank you everyone. I have a couple projects I have to get finished up before putting these wonderful blocks into a quilt, but I am planning on having it done before Halloween.

Red, thank you for hosting. This is a lot of work, and you were great to work with.

Also for future reference, the Post Office will give you tracking slips when you pay for the postage. However, it is up to you to keep track of which one you send where.
