Thanks!
By now, I have the first border on - a thin blue stripe, that actually manages to bring the volume down a bit. I cut the 4 corner hands down and am now fighting with the bubble fabric. It does not want to behave for the border. Why? No idea.
Pat is working this weekend, so I'll be in sewing retreat mode.

I'm planning to finish it this year for sure. Between work, renovation, life's interruptions, and not feeling well, it's all been a little crazy.
I'm debating how to quilt it. I wish I wasn't such a chicken when it comes to FMQing. Saw a quilt with the outline of hands somewhere on the board and I thought that would be fitting. I'm just worried that I'll mess it up and as a result, I have become immobilized.

Kicked myself in the hiney this morning and grabbed all the parts to bring it in to work and pin it after hours. That way I can push some tables together and have a large work surface.
Pat is going to help me. He said that I would probably do better with his help because he always does better with mine. SWEET!!!!!
