Oh dear, we are so far past "IF" - I done did run into trouble - as a matter of fact, I hit the wall. I soooo wanted to finish it myself (personal challenge) and it is not easy for me to admit defeat, but in the intereset of the group spirit, I have to send it on. I WOULD LOVE for you to finish it.

Here is the status: 36 Hands with sashing and corner stones in the center. 4 Hands (one in each corner) and the appropriate width border. I have stitched all center sashing and the first frame in the ditch. I also put the border on and I have a label.

What needs to be done IMO (but totally open to interpretation) is some quilting in the border and maybe an outline on each hand. (Mine sucked so bad that they looked more like claws. waaaaa (lol)

Well, it's packed up and I am heading out to the Post Office to send it out with lots of love. Patti, tag you're it. It's been an honor and a joy to get it to this part. The backing looks much prettier in person (at least I think so)

I am so in awe of the generosity on this board.
- Mad for doing all this, even though you had not done anything but SITD before comfortably, and
- Patti for just stepping right in and taking this quilt on with all the other stuff you do.
Y'all are gonna make this mouse cry.
Kennedy is going to love this quilt and it will surely be a "work" of love. hugs you guys! :-D
