I have been waffling about the flu shots. DS has asthma and probably should. My dad lives in an assisted living facility and probably should. But, none of us have had the flu in at least 10 years or more (knock on wood) so I keep stalling.

Hey y'all... just wondering why there is such a long time to mail squares when we are swapping from our stashes? Nearly three weeks from sign up to mailing deadline? I lose the excitement of a swap when it's drawn out so long. I wish it could be a quicker turnaround and then maybe we could swap more often. Just my opinion.

Sewbizgirl, I used to of this swap monthly. I got burned out, I have an active toddler and work full time. It got way too overwhelming for me. Also, fewer people signed up so it was getting harder to swap without everyone getting duplicates and their own fabs back. The sooner I get everyone's fabrics, the sooner I can swap and send back.

I like getting the packages from yosamitesa. It is almost a little surprise because I kind of forget about it and then POOF there are these wonderful fabrics in my mail. I know it takes a lot of work. I understand what your are saying sewbizgirl. It takes some of us a while to get things cut even from our stash. I wish I could play with fabric everyday, but I don't always get the chance. But swaps are a lot of fun.

Yosamitesa , I remember that you said that there may be some duplicates in our swaps. Just wanted you to know that I wouldn't mind the duplicates at all. In Fact I wouldn't mind if every block came in a pair. Just letting you know.....
