JoAnn's trip yesterday was almost a disaster. I looked all over for what I had already cut and started piecing. Went back to the brown section, with my tall DD and she FOUND it! I was so worried I was going to have to start over.

Today is my last day of anniversary vacation. DH is back at work and I am trying to "bless" this messy home. Got the groceries put away. Dishwasher is running. Laundry is going. Was going to vacuum the pool, but it has come up a thunderstorm. Still need to tidy the bathrooms and living room. Where is my magical wand when I need it?

It sounds like you had a nice vacation! I always hate to go back to work after vacation. I sure don't want to come home and have to clean house first, so I usually try to clean before we leave. Yes, I know I make double work for myself, but at least I am coming home to a clean bathroom and clean sheets!

Dusty'sMomma I do the very same thing. Have to clean before I leave, make sure all the garbage cans are emptied, dust, vacuum, etc. can't stand coming home to a dirty house.

It's even worse when you have to live with jetlag in a dirty house! When we fly international, he's worried about the packing and I'm worried about the cleaning and the mail, lol. I just get out what I'm taking and put it in a pile & it magically ends up in the suitcase!

It's awful quiet in here for projects being due Monday! I only have 3 people down as shipped, so if I've not been notified and you have sent your package out, please PM me ASAP. If you're running late, please let me and your partner know, so that there are no hard feelings. If you're participating in sikesjj's quilt project for Moore, OK and need additional time because of it, please let me AND your partner know.

I know that summer is in full swing and we're all busy. The point of the swaps is for it to be fun. Let's communicate so it stays that way!

I am still hand quilting. Will need a few more days. Hope to be binding by Sunday night. Will keep you posted. Happy moving (if there is such a thing), Elizabrat.
