Ok I think I have sent PMs to everyone and now we are at 35, only 5 spots remain. I still can not believe how fast I Spy swaps fill up.

Oh what the heck, sign me up for another spot, so I'll have 2 sets total ... Have a few babies being born this year! :) I assume if we are doing 2 sets, we choose 6 different fabrics and send 40 squares of each, then we will get 240 different (well 236) squares back right?

Well, no. Not exactly.

There are 40 sets involved - with 3 different fabrics coming from each set. There are 120 squares in each "set"

So there will be 120 different (probably - possibly a few duplicates) fabrics in the swap. (120 x 40 = 4800 squares in the swap)

If one sends in two sets - one will get 240 squares back, (two sets), but both sets will have the same 120 squares in them.

If I send in two sets (six different fabrics) - I will get back two each of the six fabrics I sent in, and two each of the other 114 fabrics that were sent in, for a total of 240 squares back. (12 of my squares plus 228 squares of the other fabrics)

Clear as mud?

I gotcha! That will work too since 120 squares will make a good size quilt, so I can make 2 matching ones!! :) Ooooh just had an even better idea, I could use the same squares on the front and back and make it like a matching game where the kid has to find the same square on the back as the front!! :)

Oh another question ..... should the fabrics we pick be gender neutral since it didn't specify boy or girl?
