Mary, I'm speechless. What incredible work you've done, and it's just so creative. Wow.

Mary, Can you please share where you get such creative ideas, do you have a book you could tell us about.

Bet you are just naturally creative. Keep looking at my quilt and showed DH and he loved it too.

You are too funny. I do love books but this was an old technique that I don't even remember exactly where I saw it. In this case I asked the women at the fabric store what they thought I should do. One woman gave me an idea and I added to and twisted her idea and this is what I came up with.

I have really enjoyed working on these different quilts. I didn't join the next one and I'm really going to miss it.

And we're really going to MISS you Mary! Just goes to show either you are really strong or I'm really bad at talking people into things...and DH says that part isn't right

I really wanted to do IRR again this year but I just got back from 3 weeks with my daughter in the Philippines and I had 3 quilts sitting here waiting for me which everyone had graciously given me extra time for and I plan to go back to help my daughter when the new baby is born and how is this for a run on sentence? Anyway, I have several things going on that I didn't want to be responsible for holding things up if I chose to participate so I decided I'd better skip this year. IF someone drops out or can't complete theirs just let me know and I would be more than happy to fill in.

Yeah...I knew all that and I noticed that capital "IF"....you know we keep you as a wild card.. You never know.

I'm still hoping you'll get to really spend some time with your DD and that new baby when it gets here. Hopefully everyone is still doing fine to this point!

This is just the corner of it. These are really big! I'll try to get a better picture after the rest of the family is up. I didn't feel like I could wake everyone up at 5 in the morning to share this with them. Somehow I didn't think they would appreciate it.

Thanks Tisha for giving me the privilege of working on this.

Oh My Mary

I'm lost for words - I love the picket fence border just what's required to keep the Tulips in the garden. It's beautiful, absolutely perfect I love, love, love, love, love it thanks you so very much Mary - your the best :D

Can't wait to get it back & take it to get quilted YIPPEE!!!!!!

MY BABY IS HOME

I have my baby at home with me again & can't get over just how much it has grown in a year. It's HUGE!!!!!! You can see that I didn't even have enough room to be able to lay it out flat on the floor.
I just cannot believe how beautiful my top is - I want to thank everyone that was involved in creating such a beauty: Steph, Terri, Elle, Patti, & last but by no means least "our" Mary.
I am taking it to the longarm quilter on Tuesday I think it may take a while before I get it back - so watch this space.
Thank you all again so very, very much.

Tisha :D :D :D xxxxx
