Thanks everyone for the the encouragement. I will keep it the way it is. Does everyone post pictures of their quilt tops once they get them back?
hi Ducky, love your block. What we do is when weeadd a round to the quilt we post a picture of what we have done before sending it to the next person. that way we see it grow and get to oooh and aaah and we love doing that. :D when they are finished or at least in your possession at the end of the time then yes you can post pics and tell us what you are going to do.

18" is okay, but it depends on what size you want your finished quilt to be after all the rounds are on it. Have a look at the sizes of the rounds that are to be put on by all your group and you can calculate the finished size of the quilt. You quilt block can be any size up to 24" okay or 24 1/2 allowing for seem allowances. Okay, hope that helps.

Ah, okay, Sandpat. I knew we posted pics of the progress, just didn't know what happens once the owner finally gets it back.

Ducky, I think your block is really pretty. Glad to hear you're going to leave the colors as is.

I've found it a little challenging to get myself to think beyond my center as to what it might look like as part of a larger mysterious whole. I know it will look completely different next year. Oh, the suspense is killing me already!

Thanks, Sew Cornie. I'm getting used to it now -- it's just not how I had imagined the cream to look. I thought it was darker than it is.

I'm so glad we post pictures of the different rounds. It would kill me not knowing what was happening throughout the year.

Hang on a minute Elle, I thought you passed a great test with that speech of yours at the Wedding, and that wasn't all that long ago! Forgotten that bit already?
