I just had to copy it here!!! This sums up one of the reasons that making doll quilts for other quilters and getting one in response is so appealing. She is right, others don't make quilts for quilters. Thank goodness we do here. :D :D :D :D

Just wondering?? I live in Central Washington which is known for (world famous) for apples..we also grow corn, peas, and other vegetables and we have quite a few vinyards here in central wa..so can I choose anything I want? OR do I need to wait until I get a partner and see what they would prefer? Because I could go with a wine theme...a fruit and vegetable theme....farm animals? I live in The brown dessert of WA state which is far different than the green side of Seattle?? SO can I start huh? huh? huh?

I love the name "The Doll Quilt Brigade" :D:D:D

Here is a bit of trivia :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Right now there are 10,417 members...if we have 104 swappers, that is a pretty good percentage considering most of our members are silent ones :D:D:D At one time we had figured that only 10% or so posted more than a few times... and about 5% posted on a semi-to regular basis :D:D:D:D:D:D
So.....5% of the board is approx 520 members and to have 100 join is an awesome percentage :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:

A cheese curd quilt, Loretta! Yum! Your quilt can be a loose interpretation of your city, state, or country.

I like the fact that these quilts can be serious, comical, cute, whimsical, or however you want to show where you live. :D :D :D This will be a very interesting exchange of ideas. It will be so fun to watch. Those not involved will be missing a lot. :D :D :D :D :D

Wow.....our math wiz has been busy! You are so right though...an amazing number for a swap...but then again, we are a pretty smart bunch...smart enough not to miss out on all the special fun !

Cheese head is fine...I've decided to go with the fun side for mine. So....go ahead...it would be cute!

I'm still trying to make up my mind what to do. Southern Indiana is not know for anything famous except for Abe Lincoln's boyhood home. Maybe a log cabin? (LOL)
