Fabrics are all cut for Macybaby's border...I really hope it looks like I have pictured in my head! If not I have an alternative plan...

I start therapy on my hand next Thursday...I have arthritis in my CMC joint (or base of my thumb). I talked to the therapist today and she thinks they will be able to help the pain I've been having in my neck/shoulder the last couple months too.

Well I am very sad to say I got my blocks all made today...supposed to be 3 1/2"x6 1/2" unfinished...so that should equal 18 1/2" when sewn together right?!?! I sewed together and put beside the center block and the strip of blocks is too short. I have no idea what I did wrong! I will be in my craft room tomorrow morning trying to figure something out! I really don't want to have to start again, but may have to...

Default Finished the first center...on its way overseas on Monday :-)

I finished my on-point border for Mona’s center today. I wanted to put It on point because putting a center on point early on, makes for smaller corner triangles. I thought floral, and the most obvious choice is a thistle with the colors and spikes. (Nod to Jackie & Scotland). As it turns out, I had some of the same purple fabric that Mona used, so I tied it together & used it. Woo hoo! This birdie flies overseas on Monday!
