Hello Ladies, working on RR quilts today...I don't do curved seams (have tried lots of time just can't get them to lay flat)...so thinking maybe this border?? Is it too plain with the "busy" of the rest of the quilt? The border will use the maroon (matches color in 1st border), light green and pink (both match center of quilt colors). I can do something different too...this one just caught my eye when flipping through my border book. Thanks for any input!!

I like it, it gives your eye a rest.

Carrie, I think that would work well. When I added my border, I was thinking that something less busy that would "frame" what was there would be very nice. I also kind of considered that the center was the ground, and then Mona added landscape, and I added the sky. So if you add a frame that works out.

Hello all. I got so far ahead that now I have nothing to do. This has been a wonderful adventure, creating to fit what was already done. Any updated photos out there?

These are 2 quilt tops I needed to finish before getting back to Round Robin projects. Got the 2nd border on the D9P w/stars on this morning. The first with the red fabric/colored stars is for my nephew who will be 5 in May.

Next is the border on petthefabric's quilt, followed by Mona's quilt...

Then I'll go back and quilt these two tops.

Oh wow, I’m so jealous. I just LOVE that tattoo, American traditional. Absolutely fantastic. Who did it? Do they have Instagram? Liora’s boot print was inspired by a tattoo, btw. Hugs!!
