    I have a question. When I paper piece something along an edge, is it preferred I tear off paper before mailing? I ask because I never tear off until it's sew so it does not stretch or misshapen. Please let me know preference.

    This is a picture of what I am talking about. I can tear off the majority but leave outer edges.

    You can leave it on. I too prefer to have it there until I've sewn the next thing on.

    I'm of the other camp. i take it off. Then stableize the edge with a stay stitch.
