Haven't been online much since I have been at my sister's house and we both ended up sick. Finally went to see the Dr and both have bronchitis. Feeling better now. Glad to see some chatter on the thread!

Knitette, I hope the flooding subsides. I recently read about a cliff collapsing with the bonus of exposed fossils. Was that in Scotland?
Bullock2us, I sure hope you get an extra nice package this month. So disappointing when your partner doesn't come through.
I just found some goodies for my SP and will hopefully get the package out the door on Monday. Still a little hunting for something to do ... but never fear SP! You're not that far away from me. Far enough, but not tooooo far.

Hi all! We just got out of a tornado watch in my area and a tornado did hit in the sw area. Thankfully no fatalities. We are safe here and had our flashlights ready to bunker. What a scare. I went to a quilt show today and had lots of fun. SP I found some gifts for you there and am happy to say I just have a few items left so it can be mailed out no later than next Tuesday.

I have a question for all of you. Do you ever send a gift that someone sent you and you can't use? I received a lovely gift in a different swap but I can't use it. I hate to just have it stored away when someone else might be able to use it. I don't want to take credit for this homemade gift and I am not sure what to do. My package will go out tomorrow and I am not sure if I can include this item or not. BrendaK

I sometimes send something along that I cannot use, but make sure to tell the recipient that I didn't make it. If it was from someone on this swap and I remember who made it, I give that person credit.

I've finished putting the last touches on my package and it will be wending its way Northeast tomorrow.
