same comment as above for me ... I'm not picky about exact size, just need pieces for scrap quilts. I only get annoyed if total amount of fabric is a lot less than expected (like 8 x 18 or 10 x 16). I usually add extra fabric to my pieces or add extra fabric; I got (what's another word for "pissed off"?) when my partner sent a lot less fabric than expected. but I haven't had to swap with that quilter again ...

I am also fine with either size, and also agree that the main thing is to get the right "total amount"...I feel that if you are sending the correct amount, you should get at least that back...and if someone can't send right amounts then just don't sign up to swap...I also try and send a little extra, actually have thought when cutting mine and re-checking sizes that I want to make sure I don't "short change" anyone...I certainly don't want to be "that gal" anyone is "highly peeved with"...
