I just love this swap! It has such great ladies in it. Next swap after this one I think I will get back in. I have to get past the charity sewing for the silent auction before I can commit though girls. It takes all my spare change and time to do that.

Wow the 4th went by so fast. I had heard fireworks for 2 nights now and I think they are having some tonight too. This morning my DM and DS and I went to breakfast at the Golden Corral. It's her 92nd birthday. The weather is still nice here. 79 andd a low dewpoint and tonight into the 50's. Won't last long and I'm not complaining. I finally got my purse done. I never put a button on them but I had to cover up a boo boo.
I hope everyone has a great day

Pat is that a large or mini Bow Tucks??? I have been using one of those magnetic closers on mine so they stay that way when I have them in the grocery or store buggies.... I have several materials I'd like to use to make one for myself but think I will use the Hamilton pattern, almost the same but I cut it out like the big Bow Tucks...Will see if I can find my Hamilton in my pictures... Have to finish this purse by Wednesday as the gal is picking it up, will take a picture of it when I finish...

The Brown and Aqua purse is a Hamilton.....just used the Large Bow Tucks pattern for the outside idea....

I just took a couple pictures of two of the little purses I make, you can get two out of a FQ... The one with the aqua paper in it shows the 4 different pockets, one is a change purse and surprising how your change stays in there.... Also putting in a pic of the red work quilt I just finished...
