wow, sleep late one day and look what i missed. such great swaps. see, all you need is a nice fabric, doesn't need to be a 'chicken' per say, just very nice work and stuffed well, like the ones Pat received. Beautiful pincushions and great needlebook. great treats too.

My chicken is not the pyramid type, i saw it on the web, when i went back to see how it was made, i couldn't find it again, so mine is a bit funky. hope whomever gets it likes it.

Karen, is September a purple theme, or are you making it something else? I need to get a head start on it. thanks.

we're supposed to get hail tonight, and the NYcity trains are going on strike. What a mess that's going to be!!

If everyone agrees, I think a purple theme would be nice. Anything goes as long as it has some purple in it. OK? And as long as we are talking themes, how about a Halloween one for October?

As normal as possible for us LOL. Thank You Karen for taking over. Halloween sounds great for oct. and purple for sept. Seems like last oct was Halloween or the Halloween colors for those that didn't want Halloween prints. I was really happy with all my gifts today and lots more pins. I need to make a large pin cush. just for decorated pins. I was going to do this before and still haven't. Have good evening all.

Both sound great to me. I do the Harvest Colors when it's halloween. We live not too far from a huge pumpkin colored water tower, and every year they have their pumpkin festival. lol... We are moving right along.

Lynnie stay inside if you are going to get hail. I was watching the weather channel today, and they were showing some strange weather coming with cooler temperatures even though it's July. Will feel nice though. We have had sudden heavy rains all day.
