Let's all wish CookiesZenmilk the best. When she is ready and able, I will turn the swap back over to her. Life happens and sometimes gets in our way. We all understand, Susan. Make sure you keep checking in and keep us on the straight and narrow.

I have someone I am going to reach out to, to see if they want to join. Fingers crossed. Please reach out to people you know and see if they would like to join in. Opened to All levels of sewing. Some of you do such awesome work. I know I am just in there but it is fun trying.
I want to throw something else out there.
I was thinking since the summer months are busy for a lot of us, (I know...winter in Australia :-}), maybe I would put up our themes fr the next three months in advance. Does it sound like something you would be interested in? And for future posts....what would you like to see? Thanks for all the input you can give to help me/us out.

I'm happy to go along with the 3 months in advance. We have very mild winters here in Western Australia so we are able to go about our daily lives with not being hemed in with snow . On the few wet and miserable days I have my wall hangings and runners to complete

R-sea, our holiday is memorial day. It is to honor those who have that has been in the service. As kids it would mean a parade & cookouts with the relations and then usually the older women and the girls would pile in the cars and go around to the cemeteries and lay flowers on family members graves. We would honor all who passed.

So I was thinking anything red/white/ blue for July.
Picnic theme for August. (R-sea...I looked up holidays for Austrlia and it said picnic day was in August. Is that right?)

I have never heard of picnic day . Nor do we have many if any picnics in August as it is the wettest month of winter. There are so many days for this and that which have started to pop up but they aren't holidays . Boo to the bright spark that thought of having a picnic in August.
Your memorial day would be the same as our ANZAC day celebrated on the 25th April it is for the Australian New Zealand Army Corp. Here in Cervantes we have a dawn service at 6.30am

    Smile down on the farm

Now don't forget the gardens that are necessary for the farm to work. We have to feed those animals and the family.

Here are the next three months. Gives you time to think if you would like to participate and maybe get ahead. I know I have my first vacation to go home,{Ohio}, in ten years.

    July will be anything red/white/blue.
August will be anything Picnic related.
September will be abstract art. Just let the creativity flow.

Please feel free to make suggestions that you would like to receive.

Thanks for organizing the postcard swap for us, Boop! Cookiezenmilk, I hope things mellow out soon.

For myself, I'll return to swapping in late June. Gotta get through the end of the school year and all the fun that brings. I appreciate you posting the list for the next three months so I can sew ahead.

Since Boop is all out of Farm jokes, I have one.

Q: What do you get when you cross a lamb and a rocket?
    A: A space sheep.
