how is everybody doing? Any ideas on what to exchange? Been in contact with your partners? I went shopping for my partners fabric today. Didn't have much luck on teal which is her favorite color but did come away with some greens. I think she still might like what I am going to do. Have to test out the material with the pattern to see if it will work now. :)

Curious minds want to know. I know that Dee's partner has great plans for her (giggles). I'm not going to tell though. hehehehe.
And how do you know what my partner is making?????? I planned on going to the quilt shop today since I work right by it - but someone came to pick me up too early. Then it was pouring so I'll stop by on Sat if I can.

It's kind of scary when it's sooooo quiet out there.
My name isn't Elfkins without good reason. (giggles).

How is everybody doing on their projects. I made progress at lunch. With the help of a friend, I believe I have picked out the colors for Nolee's project this month. Whatcha think?

Those colors look fantastic! What a lucky partner. I've got half of mine done already, looking for a few more fabrics and a few more hours of sewing and then mine gets to head over the pond to Australia :D

OMG, am I that far behind this month???
Must try to organise my time better. Have finally finished the last two borders for the IRR, so now I only have three row robins, the monthly block swap, the sunbonnet sue swap and this to concentrate on. Oh, and the three baby quilts I need to start and finish before the end of month.
aybe I should just stay home and sew, but wait that won't work, cos the bills won't be paid!!
Have a great idea for my partners, and am going to go upstairs and sew after work tonight.Should be able to fit in a solid 2 hours sewing. It's okay MandaLynn, I will get it to you.
Now can you see why I've been quiet? All this sewing, and our eldest daughter had hip surgery again a fortnight ago, and hasn't reacted well to the painkillers. I keep getting the phonecall s at work to come take her to the doctors. I just widsh her hubby would come work closer to home during the week, instead of hundreds of miles away.

You're just fine! I'm not worried about it at all, and apparently you have a lot on your table. I just had a good idea and ran with it..
Plus like I said, have some more to add to yours and then it'll be ready.

Bonni - love the colors! Can't wait to see the project as it progresses.

Lindy - don't feel bad! I haven't done much yet with mine either. Sorry Rose Anne - I will get it done though.

Here it is.....Can you guess what it will end up looking like?

I am loving this. Nolee and I are sending lots of emails back and forth and she sent me some pictures of her garden. It looks great! How is everybody else doing? Anybody else giving hints?

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo, Bonni, I am loving it so far, but don't go any further. I really want to imagine what it is going to look like without seeing it. If you make it too fancy, mine will seem very plain, I am afraid, but it's probably not something you would get otherwise :)

    Nolee (anxiously awaiting)

LOL. Don't worry Nolee. I'm not doing anything fancy. Ask others, my projects are simple ones. I won't show you anything else...well perhaps the label or something...but not until it is on its way. :)
