I've sent a PM to my partner uniquedesigner and haven't heard back yet. Should I be concerned?

Thank you Tammy. No pattern to it, just something I kept thinking and thinking about until I could put it together.

Hello,

I am sorry that I haven't been on lately. My niece's internet if very slow and because she is in chemo and needs the computer to do her business, all of us here in the house stay off of the computer so that she can zoom along. tonight she is off the computer so I thought I better jump on quick. although it is slow. I will be finishing up my quilt real soon and I have contacted my partner. I love doing these DQ's.

Oh I really liked Chele's article on DQ's. I was thinking that couldn't one put several DQ's together to make a larger quilt?????? It seems to me it can be pieced together like doing a quilt as you go quilt. Is that possible??? I am just pondering the possibilities.

She posted a couple of days ago. Maybe she doesn't know about PM's?

That's a great idea. From time to time I've looked at some of them and thought they'd make a pretty tote! But then I end up hanging them. I'm running out of wall space so I'll have to think of something soon.

Good morning ladies!
I'm a little concerned about swap members who have "gone missing" this month. Obviously, if they signed up for this month, they were around. People do fall ill or have family problems to attend to and, of course, there is the possibility that they were affected by the recent severe weather outbreak. I know you all share my concern for those facing these trials. If you haven't heard from your partner by the end of this week, please PM me and we'll figure something out.

As for doll quilts missing from previous months, when I took this group over, Chele was kind enough to send me a spreadsheet of swap participants. Those who didn't come through on their commitment -- and didn't contact her -- were marked off as not being able to participate until they made good on the swap. Things happen and I know that everyone wants to give those who faced difficulties a fair shake. But I think we all want to be fair to those who sent a quilt but never received one in return so there are no hurt feelings. That's why we have angel quilts - extras made especially for those in this situation. So, if this happened to you, please PM me. And, if you'd like to be an angel, also PM me.

Thanks to all for your patience and for sticking it out even when you have a tough time reaching your partner.

Now back to the fun!

I got started on my DQ for Lynnie25 last night! Had one idea, then changed it, then changed again!
Hopefully I will figure out which version to complete before the month is over!

Just fyi... I did receive my Feb DQ from Uniquedesigner today. She has been ill but I am sure
she will contact her partner for this month soon.
