our daffodils usually don't come up till the end of March or beginning of April. they are already up. crazy weather. we still have some snow on the ground from Friday's snow. It's to early for them to be popping their heads up.

The weather here is pretty crisp, but refreshing. No sign of life in the garden yet. Well, I take that back. One rosebush has a couple of green stems so far. But no daffodils.

We had a severe storm last night. The biggest wind and rainfall we've had in a very long time. Came home from our Anniversary dinner out just in time to see the lights go out. I had just sat down in my sewing room starting to add the finishing touch flower to a basket and BOOM! no lights. Then I remembered a little finger flashlight that a quilting friend had given me. I was able to sew that little flower on No problem.
This morning everything is so clean and new looking. That wind and rain made everything beautiful! My Chinese fringe flower bushes are to die for!
