I received 2 darling postcards from Junebillie. One for me in black and with with a pop of color. And one for my 89 year old Mom. She seems to love it. She has been holding it and amazed that you can make a postcard out of fabric. She has asked me more than once what a post card swap would be. Then she sits and says cute. It tickles me that she gets such a kick out of it. It has been a very hard week here so it is really a blessing to get a cheery little post card. Picture was shot on Mom's 1948 featherweight table. Oh she just miss read the little flower to say HOPE and we need that very much right now. Thank you. I have enjoyed my first swap.

I am glad you like them Miriam. The black and white one has white spots glowing lol.. because there is a lot of glitters on it shaped like tiny stars and the black lace is full of sequins. The one for Miriams mom was so much fun to make with flowers and buttons to accent and tiny ribbons to make it very tactile. I enjoyed making them so much. I didn't make her mom's by the black and white theme with a pop of color, because I wanted her mom's to represent a flower garden. Making the one for her mom was an honor for me.
I hope Miriam will do some more for everyone in the future swaps on here. I will not be in the next one so I can work on my blocks, and I was informed Tuesday that in a few days I will be starting on a strong big girl lol... biologic medicine that will knock my immune system down in order to see if it helps. I will have to go through regular testing. I am hopeful, but some cannot tolerate it. I am all smiles though.
All of you have done a wonderful job on these cards, the shaker style cards, and all other swaps too.
Thanks all.

Miriam, I love the cards you have received from Susan, especially the black & White one, very stunning. Also Dot your card from Dee is really lovely also. Never thought of a bird in a cage, wonderful imagination and idea.
I love everyone's way of interpreting the theme for the month.
