Really nice blocks, A2P... It's killing me to see all these pretties and not be making any! I have gotten three quilt tops done in the last couple of days tho, quickie ones. Maybe tomorrow I'll make a block.

Thank you, All2, I do like it! Some of the other fabrics in the collection include lavender/purple, so this is perfect.

Just to clarify, I'm working on two different quilts. Since I've never made a quilt with blocks set on point, I thought I might try that with the taupe floral fabric quilt. But if that ends up not working out, that's okay. It's all good.

Thanks, again!

Really nice blocks ladies. I noticed some of you using quilters cache for your blocks. I love that web site. I have made many blocks from that site. For a conversation starter, What other sites do you use? or do you use books or magazines? I also use the 100 Block magazines from Quiltmaker's.

I really like McCall's Quilting site for block patterns. Generation X is another one I like. I like to google "quilt block images". When I see something I like, I just draw it out and go from there. I've pretty well let all my magazine subscriptions lapse. They're just not worth the money to me anymore. It's far easier for me with the computer. I'm just beginning to dig into the quilting blogs.

After thought: Delaware BOM is another good one for blocks.

I also have several books I use, Around the block, around the block Again, Once More around the Block and 501 Rotary Cut blocks

I mostly google search images and draw out my own patterns from the pictures.

Jinny Beyer may be a good site for ideas, but be very careful to verify the scale/test square when printing off the designs for paper pieced. Actually, all things I've printed from the web have been a little off. Her site is the one that throws me the most, though.

This is why I like to draw my own out. I know my seam allowance and size work and I don't have to do "scant" 1/4 inch (which I hate)
