When I start it, I am going to piece them the old fashioned way and I may make them 12 1/2 blocks instead of 6 1/2. I'm not sure I want to work with such tiny pieces.

Just got in from Memphis and found my package! I've opened every bag and taken out every block and I'm so happy with them! Like someone already said, the gallery photos do not do them justice! In person they are even more beautiful. The blenders you all used with my fabric are wonderful. All the differing reds and grays I got are going to look so good together. I'm doing the Stormtrooper quilt (Star Wars), in case you forgot... and I was thinking about QAYG with a turquoise sashing, just to introduce another color for some 'pop'. I think it will look great with the black and red and grey of the blocks. And thank you for the bonus blocks I got, too.

My son in law is going to go nuts over this quilt! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Just want to let you know that I've just heard from NanaKathy and she asks for your prayers. There's a serious medical issue with a family member that has quickly come up. She and her family are very worried so any prayers and/or healing thoughts sent their way would be welcome.

I've got to check on the Aprilites now. I'm so far behind...
My blocks have also arrived. Thank you so much ladies they are beautiful.

I've been watching this BOOM swap and learning how it works (maybe for future). Please don't forget to post finished tops too! I'm loving the process!

I've made 5 more blocks today for my Stormtrooper quilt. That brings the count to 30, for a 5x6 layout. I had you all use gray black or red with my print, but I planned to use an aqua for sashing and QAYG. So these last 5 blocks are the blue blocks, with the same aqua as my sashing. I was hoping to toss in this little bit of blue to balance out the color scheme. Now I can begin to QAYG the blocks. LOVE using my smaller pieces of batting up this way!

Drunkard's Path-- may change out the border... I don't really like it. Maybe red instead?

I bet you didn't think you'd be seeing new blocks in this thread!
