Lovely postcards ladies. Got home today to find that sometime since Wed. (I was away for a few days) I received my PC from Judith. I will take a picture tomorrow and post a picture of it. I may not always be a creative as I would like, but I do get great ideas from others. I mailed mine to Judith on Wed. before I left town.

Hi ladies. My post card is going in the mail in the next couple of days. I've been laid up with the dreaded summer flu - knocked me for a 6 for a good fortnight. Its been the bed or the couch for me for the last 2 weeks. I'm on the mend now, but too much activity makes me cough, so I'm not going to venture out into the world until Thursday when I go back the GP. I'll be mailing it then.

I also didn't want to make it while I was really sick - you never know how far germs can travel!

Hi Jade,

Thank you for checking in. I'm so sorry to hear you were under the weather. I sure hope you feel better soon.. I'm sure your partner appreciates that you waited to start her postcard till you were feeling better. Those summer colds are the worst, they kick butt.

Jeanne49, your beautiful postcard arrived today. I just love how you used the 3D elements. I get such great ideas from all of you also.

Lynnie, I meant to tell you, I love how you used that adorable panel. I never know what to do with those. Such a good idea. I used to have more cats then dogs. Now, I have 3 dogs and 1 very old outside cat. She's been with our family for 14 years. She's mellowing in her old age. She used to be very snippty.

Ladies your postcards are all beautiful great job all of you.

Things have settled down around here I'm hoping to join this swap for April. I'll need to get very creative to keep up with all of this beautiful work.

Yeah, Billi, I sure hope we do see you back. I have listed the themes for the next few months if you want to get ahead or to just start brainstorming your postcard.

April is April Showers bring May Flowers or Easter. (No religious please. To each his own.)

May is All Shapes and Sizes. You can do a shaped postcard, it could be in the piecing or applique, Or if your really creative, your quilting. (You decide, it will be fun.)

June is The Good Ol' Summertime. Anything that kicks off summer celebrations to you. Or evokes strong summer memories for you. You decide.

July is Independence Day, Red/White/Blue, or if you are an International swapper, whatever is a special celebration for you in July. (Share your culture with us.)
