I have decided on a wall hanging from a Shop Hop from last year. It was designed by one of our local quilt shops called The Quilted Thimble and one of my favorite stores. I bought the fabric kit (last one!) so am ready to start cutting. Lots of little pieces!
I was going to have some foot surgery April 22 and got a call from Cleveland Clinic yesterday. Since Ohio lifted the elective surgery ban as long as it’s out patient I can have it done and that will be May 13. That’s 3 weeks on crutches so I need to get started on this WH now. Maybe I can hand quilt (maybe!) while I’m sitting around the rest of May. However I do it I will be ready at the end of June for sure
Stay safe everybody.

Skaduzy....I will be thinking of you and hoping all goes well with the footsy surgery.... Check in with us and let us know.

I keep changing my mind on my wall hanging...I completed the top of one and now drafting a second idea...but then got inspired on a 3rd design....lol... You'all will be as surprised as me when this swap is over. Lol..

Thanks Teen. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Ube, your WH is adorable and, again, Granky, liking yours too. I’ve never tried anything like that but am willing to give it a go one of these days.

Every swap I think I need to make something and join in. Maybe this time I will. We'll see. I have more time at home now! LOL I haven't made anything in well over a year. I made a few masks for a friend this last week and working on a few for a cousin. It was frustrating. Everything I did was backwards or the needle broke twice or stitches were skipping and It was like am I really supposed to do this project or not??? It took me awhile to get back into the hang of things. I had to switch machines cause my?one Brother has a problem with skipping stitches. Maybe now I can work on something quilty again.
Gracious Rhonda...how do you survive a year without making something???? I simply have to have something 'sewy' going on...that's how I started making mini quilts...no room to sew. Now I have a large sewing space, so guess what? No mini's!!!!

I don't know granky but some how I have also hit a dry patch. I can feel I am coming out of mine and am more interested in quilting again but it seems to go that way. Playing with some ideas for this swap and I keep pulling fabric but changing my mind.

Welcome Nancy! We'd love to have you join us. Just go back to the first post and send me the information I need in a pm. As long as you have a wall hanging ready to mail by the last day of June you will be set to receive a name to mail to. You will have to send me a pm when your wall hanging is ready to mail. The Ready to Mail list is the one.

Have fun with this!! I know you'll enjoy our ladies. They are a great support to everyone!!
