March Mug Rug Swap: Destination Spring time!
#31
LOL Lynnie, my Zoey is a princess but she is also a bit of a independent tomboy type. We are still getting to know each other… I just got her in the beginning of September. She has been a big help to me during some tough times. For a young dog she is very quiet and mellow and she is also very smart. Once in a while she likes to play but mostly she is happy to curl up and supervise. What does your Zoey look like?

We ladies just end up chatting about all kinds of things...lol
And, it's your interpretation of Springtime Destination...like someone may think a cat in the flowerbed is "Springy"...lol
We're pretty easy going around here..And happy to have you join us!
Once the month's theme is announced, some people go ahead and make the mug rug. Others (like me) wait until the partners are assigned to kind of "tailor" the mug rug to what their partner likes (still within that month's theme, tho).
I hope this explanation isn't clear as mud...lol...
Vitality,
I'm thinking it would be nice to be Zoey..., as I'm fairly certain she has a pretty schweet life...
Sorry for all of y'all who are freezing in the terrible weather!
I kinda hate to say this, but we were 74 degrees yesterday.. supposed to be mid 60's today.
Now before y'all Boo me off of here, Winter is headed back full force. Starting Saturday, it's supposed to snow with highs in the 20's for several days.
We have a saying around here: if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes, because it changes so fast.
Cheesehead,
It would be a dream come true for them if I could ever get tickets and send my hubby and son to see their beloved Packers play at Lambeau... it would probably be a case of seeing 2 grown men bawl like babies...lol
Speaking of Packers, did I thank you for my "angel" pkg of the Packers fabric you sent??
Oh my word, y'all.. I'm losing my mind! And I didn't have much of one to start with to lose..
ACK!! Either way, thank you so much for sending it to me! It's slated to be used to make my dgd and dgs each some pants to wear on game day. I made my lil granddaughter a skirt and trimmed a t shirt in Packers fabric a couple yrs back, she loved dressing up on game day. I thought for the upcoming season I'll make pants. Will ask her and see which she'd rather have. She'll probably say BOTH. Haha
Take care all, and stay warm
Kif

Wise words Dfergie! never to ate to finish what you started no matter when.. I grow into project then out of it again twirking off into a new project with cool ideas and three quilts later think I should finish that one and well you get back into and love it all over again. or you cringe that you had ever started it lol. then its good you looked and off to the donation box for someone who might just love it like you did when you started.
do you organize your scraps? mine are in stacks by color(s).some stacks are full of just one shade then another is full of orange and yellow tones. (guess I don't buy much of those little goes a long way?)

All my scraps are in one bin… I use them up pretty regularly so far. When I'm done with them I neatly fold whatever is left over… and put it back in the bin… though the neat folding only lasts until I start rummaging through it sometime. I love using scraps for things.
