Question: are we talking about an actual basket that things can be put in, or one that has binding, quilting, and is flat? Thanks

An actual basket. It can be as simple or complex as you want. Any size or shape. The only stipulation is that it be something you'd be excited to receive. I know some of us have never made one before, but there are copious free tutorials all over the net if you'd like to give it a try.

This one will be a challenge. Hmmm, thinking I am up for it. Let me get the coasters finished first.

look on pintrest for ideas under quilted fabric baskets.
A lot of great ideas there. I made mine with a flat bottom
so it will stand on it's own.
