That was a good ending for May. I can't wait to see the pincushions that are coming.
It was a perfect day for yard sales. Not too hot and I actually got quilty things. 7 quilt magazines that I know I don't have, 2 quilt patterns, and a lap quilt that someone else made. Then I had to go to my favorite LQS and bought more patterns there. Now I need to get busy on the pincushions. Everyone have a great weekend

However, I did stop by Village Thrift before I went to Marc's today and bought a beaded charm bracelet to take apart.

I received my pc yesterday from Elayne (Roserips). It's funny that I made an owl pc and received an owl pc. It is the cutest thing! It also has wings and in one wing is a thimble and the other wing is a little stiletto. She also sent me a nice note and some mints. Unfortunately they were melted when I got them. But, I never through away candy! I put them in the fridge and now I can cut the block into pieces. Yummmm!!! Thank you so much Elayne. I love everything you sent.

Karen that owl is so cute. I haven't made an owl either. All I have seen of them are so cute, and having those little goodies under the wings is a really neat idea. The mints sound yummy. Very nice package.

Karen that owl is so cute. I have several patterns of owls and that is not one of them. It's amazing how many different owls there are.
Today it's 85 but the dewpoint is in the mid 50's so it doesn't seem hot. There were some yard sales and I didn't stop at any. By the time Sunday comes I've had it. Hope everyone has a great day
