I am going shopping for Prom Dress fabric. I am going to make 3 dresses... and I was the one who opened my big mouth and said, "I can do that"!!!!! sure I can, no problem!!! Prom is may 3rd or 4th, not much time to make 3 dresses... I will have fun shopping with them and doing reality checks!

Wow, only 1 week left. Not sure if I'm going to get mine done. Just too much 'stuff' going on, but I'm going to try.

Hubby said I got mail!!! One package from LuvTooquilt and a package from Barri...I thought I already received Barri's so I'll check it out when I get home, which looks like a week from now. Maybe even not until the 20th, if Princess needs me, I'll stay here. I plan on some major baby holding.

OH OH OH Princess Lyla was born today at 5:13pm, 6lbs,7oz. 19" and has RED hair!!! HAHA... well, they said...BrownRed..but but, that's what I have, WOOHOO.

Sheri, Yeah on the Red head~ mine was red, well a strawberry blond, but always wanted a red headed child! Gotta love the personality that goes along with red hair! I am so excited for you, you snuggle that little one as much as you can, for all of us Grammies who don't get to every day! I am totally jealous, in a good way I love the name!

[QUOTE: if Princess needs me, I'll stay here. I plan on some major baby holding.

Laughed when I read this and remembered when our first was born in 1967. My mother came to help us and was at the hospital when the Dr. discharged us. He told her in no uncertain terms that she was there to keep the house running NOT to cuddle and spoil the baby. She followed his instructions to the letter. Husbands fondest memories of it is that she showered him with homemade pies.

We did give her a break and let her hold him as much as she wanted.

Thanks ladies. The baby is ADORABLE.

I know I have packages piled up at home. Hubby is gone to watch princess golf. He'll give me a received list when he gets home. We have another week to mail. I WILL get them swapped and to you by the deadline!!!

    Hi Sheri,
We knew you were heading to your daughter's, and they were inducing her, but there is no mention of the stats on the princess..

Precious and congrats!!!! Oh the sleepless nights, newborn cry, the snuggling, being the good kind of tired! Can you tell I miss having a newborn!?!? Mine are two, three and seven; but we plan to add to the nest next year.

OMGOSH how did you know the SWEET PRINCESS cried ALL night. I went and took my turn trying to soothe her and was surprised it was 6:15am. Luckily....she quieted right down for me and slept in my arms until I heard her sister wake up at 9:15!! Today's a rainy day. We'll all just play and rest. (Well maybe I'll get to work on my DGS's Disney quilt. I'm attempting to free motion Mickey heads all over it. I've got it and two others to finish before THOSE babes get here next week!)

I am a idiot!!!! I had stuck in my head if I cut ten squares of ten different fabrics I would have enough for my ten sets. Last week was a bad week, so I am digging out more fabric and goin to cut more squares. I literally have lost my mind, somewhere along the way, the three kids have sucked it out of me.

Here is a idea that could possibly be tweaked to work with 2.5" squares. It showed up on my Facebook feed from Bad Ass Quilters Society.

Sheri, take care of the babies as long as you are needed. I'm sure no one will fault you if the swap happens to go off a few days later than scheduled. We all understand family commitments.

Sikesjj, of course you have lost your mind. You have 3 little, little kids. You may find it again in 15 years or so. In the mean time, enjoy what you can and laugh at the rest.

Sherr......my candy will be mailed on Monday. I will be mailing them at lunch from Ricardson.....you should have them pretty quickly.

How are your precious Princess' doing? Is she still keeping everyone awake all night?

I agree with everyone, take as long as you need to help with your precious Princess.

Thought DH mailed my candies and he didn't. Found them yesterday. Just came back from the post office so hope they get there before you return from taking care of the princesses.

Just couldn't manage to get my squares done. My brain is so fried that it took a few minutes for me to remember my password.

    Maybe next time.
