Yosamitesa, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does things like that!

Of course we are having fun.. For some reason, I think I remember SheriR mentioning that there will be another swap.. I just wish I could help.. It's a little hard when I live on the opposite coast..

Ok ok, ladies. I haven't been ignoring all y'all. And yes I've got the next swap in mind. I just hesitate to announce it until the present one is finished but think July and think patriotic twists and of course, batik twist!!

I'm waiting for two packages before I can swap. They should be here any day and I'll then swap and mail out! <3

(I got my baby fix today! My daughter who is moving to ND left yesterday. so I had to cheer myself up by going and holding the new princess! She's still cute!)

I've saved the pattern for that out of the American Patchwork and quilting. Maybe sometime we should have a swap for those, or have it as a twist - do sets of 5 squares, with 4 sets in a twist for the usual 20 squares.

Someone posted this one today. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...k-t220202.html. I was just trying to figure out how to swap sets of five lol. My big problem now is getting the pattern. Which issue is it in? Infact. Thanks for posting the entire magazine name. I had no idea what APQ ment in some of the posts. ....see I really am a quilting newbie!

When I received this issue I immediately started keeping little stacks of 5 squares...I started sewing 3 of them together and pinning the other 2 with the sewn 3.... I think it would be a great if we could swap more than 5 sets.

I had to go through some squares today that I've had. I'm thinking on how to mingle a five square swap with our candy. Let me think on it. I wonder how many of us would be interested?

AND I did receive our last candy package SOOOOO you know what that means... Swapping tomorrow!!!!

I saw the quilt, and was thinking of doing it, but don't think I need the pattern.. I think it is doable to swap the five pieces. We could pin the five together, and swap them out in packs of five.. How many packs of five can we get in a flat rate envelope?
