To all of my Quilting friends who have mothered children or friends or husbands (lol) or their animals. Heck, I have been known to "mother" strangers! Some of us are just nurturers through and through.

The HAPPIEST of MOTHER'S DAYS to YOU!!!!

Lynnie when I make beer can chicken I season a whole fryer inside and out Tie the legs together (like a turkey). Open a can of beer I also add some fresh minced garlic to the beer can. Then you just slide the chicken over the top of the can of beer,so the can is inside the chicken Stand it on the bbq and cook till done. Comes out very tasty and juicy.

You'll know lynnie, just like in the oven. average 4lb. chicken takes about 1 1/2 hours on the grill. It was delish yesterday..salad, small baked potato and fresh asparagas. Step mother brought berry pie, so full I thought I'd pop!!

Please don't be upset with me girls. But, the can is aluminum and remember that is very bad to cook with for you. Maybe the beer can be placed into something safe to use the recipe.

yesterday I threw out 11 frying pans, you know how it is, don't throw it out, so I took it. I got all new pans. just need pots next. I told my MIL about the aluminum pots and pans. she said nothing happened yet so she's going to use them. problem, we eat there sometimes, I don't want to eat out of the pots she uses. what do I do????? She won't throw them out.

Jaba, your meal sounds so delish!!! I want some too!
