Jan what a great swap you got from Susan. I just love the cherry blossom fabric and lots of goodies. Happy belated birthday Susan
    Happy birthday to Morgan

This is the swap that I sent to Aurora. I don't know if she was having trouble sending a pic so I thought I'd send it from here.

Wow, Pat, what a great swap package you made for Aurora! She's a lucky one! The fabric you chose is beautiful, & the crocheted doily is out-of-this-world! (And I love your teapot -- it would fit nicely into my teapot collection! LOL) Everything is great!

Morgan says 'thank you' for the birthday wishes.

Yes Sis it was/is a Stiletto, old age and time of night freeze my brain sometimes... Got an email TODAY,( remember I was expecting the kids today) saying they will be here tomorrow, don't know when or how long they are staying, what time are they coming in, in for dinner or out... I hate this kind of visit..They don't seem to know how to communicate and let me know what they are doing.

Ladybug -- I believe that's the stiletto I sent you back in March. If it doesn't turn up, let me know ... I can always send another one!

Pat, Oh my goodness what a great swap package you made for Aurora. It's all beautiful. I think I have one of your gorgeous baskets. I keep wanting to get better crocheting with the other thread to make a doily like that. It is beautiful. My mom could make all those type of doilies. Years ago, she made this one with grapes all around the edges. I have a set she made for me one birthday that has the pansies around it. I will have to take a picture sometime and put it on here. The pincushion and needle case you made for Aurora is so so pretty and match the gorgeous basket. You are very talented. I am no where near as talented as all of you ladies on here, but you all inspire me, and help me in my journey of sewing/quilting. Pat what is the little pretty case on the pink doily next to the pretty buttons? Everytime you show something on your table, I see all the pretty things you have sitting back on the table and a bit of some pretty plants too. I wish I was there to see all your pretty goodies you have sitting out.

    Mary, how is your husband?

I have used the stiletto I got from Jaba so much I don't know how I managed without one. I always thought they were pretty, but they are much more than that. It sits by my machine.

I had a wonderful, but very simple birthday yesterday. My husband was ready to take me wherever I wanted to go, but I was too weak to feel like going anywhere. We had cake and icecream, with a quiet day and our fur babies. My son invited us over for dinner tonight. That will be nice since only my husband cooks. He is a good cook though, but he is very anemic right now, and he seen a specialist and they said he has only half of his lung capacity he should have. Keep us in your prayers. All of you are always in mine.

Have a great day and week ahead everyone.

Susan, after he gets his blood up he should be better. I alwas feel better after an infusion. Have fun with the kids.

Pat you made suh a nice swap package for Aurora. I LOVE that doily. I can crochet up a storm, but not with the thread like you do. Your work is absolutely stunning. I remember my grandma doing the grapes too, and the pansies. she threw them out when she moved back up to NY. I remember playing tea set with them when I was a kids. I still love them. anyone having an excess of doilies, send them my way. your work is magnificent! Love that little basket too!

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. Pamela the teapot is a yard sale find. I'm glad that Morgan had a great birthday.
Susan I just started making the pansy doilies again. I want to make some hotpads but I can't find my book. The ones on the web aren't what I'm looking for. I know I brought it with me from NH. It's a magnetic notepad. What I have on my table now is mostly my yard sale finds that I haven't put away yet. I need to find a place for my snowglobes until next winter. How did all of you women find husbands that can cook? I guess that's why I'm divorced. I had to do everything. I hope that you and your husband are ok

Mary I hope that your husband is ok too. Have you seen any fawns yet? I've been seeing Canadian geese babies but that's it. I also saw some corn that has started to come up. They haven't planted the late corn yet.

    Everyone have a great day
