Monthly Quilting Bee - November 2016

This is the Monthly Quilting Bee Partner list for November, 2016. WHERE has this year gone? Ya’all feel like it’s really flown? Remember this swap is for a 12 ” block and must be measured true to size before mailing. Please contact your partner as soon as possible, and mail on time – stay in touch. I realize a lot of you don’t post on the Bee, but it would be nice to see you post once in a while, at least that you’ve received, & sent your blocks. We have 2 new swappers this month, Welcome Sewbizgirl & Bootsy. Enjoy this swap.

I sent a msg to my swap partner. I can hardly wait to get her info, so I can start working on the project.

I hope everyone had a spooky Halloween.

Hi, I'm hoping 'LindaC' will pop in soon and let me know which block she would like.
I will need to have it made the first half of next week as we have company staying the following week!

How about just making whatever you want, if you haven't heard from your partner within so many days?

I'm really not sure what is up with LindaC, her partner last month hadn't received her block, so I PM'd Linda and still no response. Maybe she just dropped out and didn't let anyone know. LindaC, if you're out there, please holler..

I'm new to this swap but I have a question... Do people need to confirm each month that they are "in" for that month? Seems like that would eliminate this problem of people not being able to get in touch with partners. If only confirmed players were paired up each month, wouldn't that make it go a lot smoother?

That being said, if anyone needs a partner this month, due to partner non-response, I am available to do an extra swap.

To answer your question, most of these ladies have been in this swap for forever. A lot of them don't get on the computer daily so sometimes the month kinda slips by, but eventually they'll answer. Unless I hear directly from them, they are included each month. As long as they do contact their partner at some point, and blocks are mailed before end of month, they are included in the swap. IF anyone wants to take advantage of doing extra blocks, that's fine. Just post as you did, and sometimes they will contact you. This is the way this swap has been done for years.

Thanks for offering to be an extra partner..
