Just finished my sewing theme mug rug! (ok have to sew the back of binding down by hand still). Its very.. reserved. Whats the vote on my making a not so reserved one just to mix it up for my partner? (btw wee fi I am not expecting two from you one is lovely).. I just feel the need to play with something a bit more upbeat for the heck of it. oh yes? I vote yes so tada it wins!

me whacky? um I so wanted to use parrots with margarita glasses for your mug rug but sigh, you were not sounding to drunk bird like so I held back. Also then this wild fabric big cabbages with pink roses in the middle (makes no sense I know) Kaffe Fasset and I kinda thought you now you could then I thought you would think all Americans were off their bloody rocker so I will save that for those back here at home.. so then .. well it sure was fun playing with my fabric. came up with something I just stumbled on and while its certainly not wild its me too.. I am too not one dimensional lol in my likes. I go I want this, oh oh I need that.. just a bit of this.. when I hit the fabric store. all over the place never once staying on target. kinda like when I sew

Elisabrat, if you are having a "I wanna make an insanely wacky, off the wall, mug rug" feeling, I'm always up for that! I'm not imposing, just offering to be your muse.
