But, it is special. You hand knit the wool anddd felted it. That in itself is so cool. We have terrible goodwill stores. They charge too much. Or otherwise I would have gone and bought a 100% wool sweater to play around with. I never thought about knitting my own. I will have to give it a try. Thank you for the inspiration. And I still can't wait to see yours.

Love seeing all the awesome needlecases.

Started on my needlecase today and I am liking it. A little hint..... my partner likes blue and lives in a state that has New in it.

Hi (XXXX) Secret Swap Pal, You don't know me....yet. (lol) I just wanted to let you know, your little (ahem, almost gave it away) Needlebook is on it's way to you. I don't know how long it will take to reach you, so, I wanted to get it out to you a little early. And, so, the journey begins. I feel like a little kid. I can't wait for it to reach you. I hope you like it.
Oh, and I like warm temperate water and I like jellyfish, seaweed, crabs, shrimp, sponges, snails, algae and mollusks. Will I like it there?

Oh and Lynnie, I hope your recovering nicely since your surgery.

Dear Secret Swap partner, I started designing your needle case yesterday. My head is sewww poppin' with ideas, I almost can't stand it. Today, my goal is to get a hold of which ideas I am actually going to use. I can clearly see that I 'need' to make more needle cases. Yes Lynnie, we do need to have another needle case swap!!!!

Thumbs up My needle case is ready to be shipped

I finished it last night. My felted wool piece was thick so I could only put one piece in for two pages. I decided to needle felt some red wool on it to liven it up. My partner likes red, bright blue and autumn colors and since red was the first color, I went with it. I picked the bandana because this needle case is traveling west. I hope my swap partner likes it. I enjoyed making it.

Oh annthreecats, It's adorable. I hope your swap partner loves it. (oh, darn, not me, I'm not west! I'm south.) Oh, well, I've love every needlebook that has been shown so far. So whoever my partner is, you definitely have a whole range of needlebooks to choose from. I LOVE them all.

Kehoeta, they definitely are like potato chips. (lol) (sheepish look) I guess thats why I have 8 on my list of UFO's that I'm working on finishing by this weekend. Seriously addictive. But, oh so fun. And, there still is a couple that I want to try out still. Maybe I will reward myself with trying a new one inbetween finishing ufo's. Yep, that sounds like a good idea to me.
