JuneBillie ... another thing we have in common ... we received needle cases with the flag of Britian!

LittleRoo - the case is gorgeous!!!

Everyone ... ALL the cases were fantastic (especially the one I got )

Caroline ... THANK YOU so much for hosting this swap. I had a great time making my case, looking at all the others and of course receiving the perfect case you made for me. Or should I say "ta"
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Love the British one, what a great idea to represent the area it came from. Also like the scissors holder in this one much better than in the one I made... Am wondering, after the ribbon is threaded through the scissors, does one end have Velcro or some such to hold the ribbon down? I'm trying to think about how I could adapt this to the pattern I used, modifying both patterns a bit to come up with the "perfect" one. And wow, those pins all in a circle - I had enough trouble just making a straight line, lol.

Thanks, Carolyn, this was great fun!

This just keeps on getting better. Are all the swops in the board as good, or did we just get lucky?

Yes we do have that in common too, and also yes we seen so many wonderful needle books everyone created. It has been a great swap, and so glad that Caroline started this, and we thank you Caroline.

I sent mine out to my partner but have not heard from her yet. I hope everythis is okay with her. I did PM Caroline and ask her to check on her for me.

I sent her a yellow, sunbonnet sue shaped needlecase. Very plain in regards to some I have seen. I hope she likes it though.

    Look how pretty!

MizMelly spoiled me big-time with the needle cases she sent acouple of weeks ago (I'm slow with the pictures). Look how pretty - both in blue... my favorite! She made a small needle book and a lovely pouch for scissors & other goodies. She even included some needles & scissors. I love everything!!!

    Hexie fun

Here is the needle case that I made for the swap. Most was done by hand while watching my boys' baseball games. I have to take my sewing time when I can get it! It's en route to its new home now.

TiltedEars, the needle case you received as well as the one you created and sent are beautiful. You did get a lot of nice, pretty, goodies too. Such a nice gift with your hand needle work. I like all the pretty blues in the one you received, and the accessories.
