Ditto--I want to do the next swap as well, so if we are skipping Dec, getting our partners early would give us plenty of time to create!

Although if we have a theme for January, I could use the December and January time to really get creative. Why don't we sign up for December/January now, get our partners at the first of December then they wouldn't be due out till the January deadline........just a thought, and any theme y'all choose is fine with me. For me, the sooner I get a partner.....the better, and the thought of having two months to work on it would be nice, considering December is really busy anyways.

jillnjo, your DQ is being mailed today so you don't have to wait too much longer. Hope it brightens your day when you receive it.

Love the idea of signing up for January and getting our partners early Dec - gives us a little extra time to get our quilt done with the holiday season in the midst.

Linny, your DQ from Lisa is adorable. Love all the different frabics.
I have done that patteren so many times but never came up with the idea of adding the buttons and other trinkets. Good job!

Default January Doll Quilt Swap

Thanks for all your input about skipping December's swap. We'll skip December and come back refreshed for January. I will post a thread for the January swap soon so it will give everyone plenty of time to sign up and create. Spread the word, swappers. Send smoke signals. Hopefully we'll have another fun group of talented swappers for January.

Thanks to all of you for making this swap so much fun. Each and every quilt and comment makes me smile. Ya'll know how to have fun!
