Thank you all for your kindness.
Mom passed peacefully yesterday, having not woken up since Monday. We know that she is happy again, can only imagine the reunion she is having with loved ones who have gone on before her.
Tom, his brother and sister are meeting with the funeral director today. Due to the New Year's holiday, it looks like services will not be until Monday and Tuesday of next week. I wish it were sooner, but it will all work out.

peaceandjoy, It is so hard to lose someone you love. But it is also great to know they are in a better place. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I am sorry for your family's loss Robin. It is difficult to lose someone who means so much and doubly hard I think this time of year. My thought and prayers go out to you and yours.

Robin...I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a really hard time to be going through all the funeral details and the funeral itself. I'll be keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.
